FAS Master Test Day

Our FAS Master Test days give you the opportunity to test the skills you've developed during your training. The master tests will be run like a match where you show up and shoot it cold on an electronic timer. Please show up at least 30 minutes early to each session to have adequate time to gear up.

These tests are going to be run on separate days starting in 2024 and will no longer be during our core curriculum classes.

In the colder months, we will be running Handgun at 10:00am and Rifle at 1:00pm.

In the warmer months, we will be running Handgun at 9:00am, Rifle at 12:00pm, and Shotgun at 3:00pm.

Handgun Master Test: Minimum pre-req is Defensive Handgun. Meet on the main pistol range and bring at least 100 rounds which is enough to run it twice.

Rifle Master Test: Minimum pre-req is FAS 2-Day Carbine, previous Tactical Rifle. Meet on the carbine range and bring at least 100 rounds which is enough to run it twice.

Shotgun Master Test: Minimum pre-req is FAS Advanced Defensive Shotgun. Meet on the shotgun steel range and bring at least 20 slugs and 42 buckshot which is enough to run it twice.

Students will be required to present a state-issued license to carry a concealed handgun, military or police identification, or other form of background check prior to participation.
