Tactical problems including camoflage, obscured targets, identification and other issues facing the rifleman are taught.

PRECISION RIFLE 1

Precision Rifle offers two intense days of training and practice in use of the scoped, centerfire, MOA-accurate rifle with distances varying from 35 to 300 yards.

Students enrolling in course should be completely familiar with their rifles, and come to class with a 100-yard zero established. (Level 1 Rifle recommended if student cannot meet requirement.) Curriculum includes rifle marksmanship principles, field positions including prone, sitting, kneeling and standing (with or without sling), use of cover/camouflage exercises, engaging moving targets, and use of the FAS Marksman's Tower for tactical exercises.

This is a two-day, 20+ hour immersion course. Training proceeds well into Saturday night to afford students the uncommon experience of rifle night fire. Students will sleep at range (bring bedding, mattress pad and food for two days). Tactical exercises continue until late Sunday afternoon.

Course offered for the serious rifle shooter or previously certified police sniper who wants two full days of relevant training. Background check, police ID or CCL required, plus references for non-law enforcement personnel. Click here to view equipment requirements.
