Ridgeline: Advanced Precision Rifle

DESCRIPTION :

Advanced Precision Rifle begins with foundations of manipulations and the progression of increasing shot to shot speeds. This course also exposes shooters to wind reading techniques and shooting from alternate positions. Graduates of this course will be able to hold groups 2 MOA or smaller from positions other than prone and engage targets to 600 yards with a hit rate of 80% or higher.

Students will progressively be introduced to subjects such as cold bore theory, precision speed shooting and unsupported alternate positions. Students will engage targets utilizing paper and steel arrays from 100-600 yards including moving targets. Shooters will be challenged to engage multiple targets from varying positions while still performing fundamental tasks at a high level of competence.

Prerequisite: This is a Skills Enhancement course. Ridgeline skills enhancement courses have been designed to place shooters in new positions, challenge durability of position and fundamentals, and improve speed and marksmanship. These courses provide less step by step instruction on basic skills with a higher emphasis on coaching to push boundaries and overcome obstacles so the student may achieve new levels of performance. This is not an entry level course. Familiarization with your specific rifle and scope are expected. Some core understanding of zeroing and fundamentals of marksmanship should be held by the student. General safe firearms handling is expected of all students.

  • Rifle Scope with External Elevation and Windage Adjustments
    (10X Minimum / Mil Based Reticle Preferred)
