Shot Placement Seminar

We live in a three-dimensional world. Unfortunately, most firearms training is not designed for that. Real life violence does not always present itself with a textbook shot that is most often practiced on a static range.

In this FAS seminar we’ll go beyond ‘Center Mass’ to teach you more about proper shot placement, as well as shot angles. Anatomical considerations and the mechanism of bullet damage will also be discussed. You’ll be put into shooting drill scenarios that will help you understand where your bullets need to hit to be effective.

From conversational distances out to the practical limits of an attack, you’ll learn where to place your rounds to get your adversary to stop as quickly as possible.

*This class may go later than 5pm and is longer than our normal seminars.

Prerequisite: Level 2: Defensive Handgun (or higher level FAS course)
This is not a stand-alone class. Students must have completed the prerequisite to ensure safety throughout the seminar.

No retake discounts due to extra costs to run this course. Additionally, due to the extra cost of materials pre-prepped for each student in this course and the reduced size of the class, it will be the student's responsibility to fill their spot if they need to cancel or reschedule.

Notes: This class is designed for the intermediate to advanced student and will focus on concealed carry. Students are welcome to train with a duty or other OWB/Competition holster if the desire. While AIWB is also allowed in this class, if you cannot do so safely, you will be asked to switch to a strong side hip holster. Please plan accordingly.
