Distance Pistol and Zeroing

Have you ever zeroed your handgun? Do you know where it hits at 50 yards or beyond? Do you know the accuracy capabilities of your gun and ammo combination? Many people do not consider the zero of their iron sighted pistols but with the rising popularity of Red Dot sights, handgun zeroes are something we need to talk about.

In this class we will focus on shooting from 10-100 yards with the opportunity to test your handgun accuracy skills at targets at further distances. We will chronograph and see the variation of group size between our different ammo, talk about pistol zeros and trajectory, explore alternate distance aiming techniques with our irons, and examine the accuracy potential of red dot optics. Please bring at least 200 rounds of the same practice ammo and a variety of any other ammo you would like to test and compare during the class.
